1. React Performance Techniques Beyond React.memo
You don't always need React.memo to optimize performance. A better approach is to keep state close to where it's needed and structure components in a way that avoids unnecessary re-renders. Using composition patterns can help, and being mindful of how custom hooks handle state changes is important too. 2. TypeScript Becoming 10X Faster by Moving Compiler to Go!
Microsoft is enhancing its TypeScript programming language by developing a native compiler and toolset, transitioning the existing TypeScript compiler from TypeScript/JavaScript to the Go programming language. This initiative aims to significantly improve performance, particularly in large codebases. The project, known as Project Corsa, is in its early stages.
